JAE Celebrates Minds of All Kinds
Joseph A. Edgar Intermediate School students and staff are recognizing National Autism Acceptance Month and have created hallway murals filled with colorful symbols of limitlessness and love.
Headed by teachers Gina Hale and Michelle Pfaeffle, students participated in creating infinity symbols to outline large JAE letters for all to see. They have been listening to stories, watching videos and learning all about celebrating minds of all kinds.
Students and staff are also encouraged to wear rainbow colors each Wednesday throughout April to recognize and support people with autism.
Thanks to our JAE students, teachers and staff for your boundless showing of acceptance, respect and understanding of our students with autism.
